Print making experiment

For experimentation regarding our final composition. I had decided to do an experiment involving print making, as I had never used print making within any of my works before so I thought that it would be interesting and something new to try. I had chosen to create a print making using the cartoon of a panda. A panda was chosen as I feel that it is an animal which can be seen as an animal symbol representing myself due to it being a very peaceful and slightly quiet animal which is what I would describe myself as most of the time. The first drawing is just the original drawing of the panda. Whilst the second is of the first print make using red oil paint. For the second print make I attmeoted to experiment with a black colour and create shading, however it didn't turn out very well. I have learned from my mistake as I now know what is and what is not possible using a print making technique.
